Our Team

Anton Bucher, Executive Director/Coach

Coach Bucher is the founder and executive Director of the Texoma Thunder.

He has been coaching club volleyball for six years, and recreational club for five years before that. He has also been a high school and middle school volleyball/basketball coach. His first 12 years in Texas, he was a theatre teacher in the Frisco ISD.

He is a Gold Medal Squared Certified Coach, as well as SafeSport certified.

He is married to his wife Christie since 2001, and coached his daughter Keira starting her first grade year. In 2025-2026, Keira played on the Varsity Volleyball team with the Denison Yellowjackets as a starting setter. He also coached soccer for his son Quint when he was in first through fifth grade, in the Frisco Youth Soccer League.

Anton is an active member of his church, has four dogs (because cats are NOT cool), and loves to cook dinner for his family. He looks forward to growing TTVBC, and helping raise the level of volleyball in all of the Texoma area.

Robyn Kimberlin, Director of Brand and Design

Robyn is a lifelong resident of Denison, TX. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years and now works as a nurse consultant. She also owns a successful small business specializing in apparel and design. Though these two careers may seem like opposite ends of the spectrum her keen attention to detail, creativity, and non stop energy make her an asset to Texoma Thunder.

Although never a volleyball player herself she was immersed in the sport supporting her daughter in both school and club play and found a love of the game.

She is an active volunteer at her church, Joshua’s Crossing, and serves on the board of a local children’s cancer foundation.

In her spare time she loves to travel (most frequently to visit her daughter who recently began college in NYC) and spend time with her husband, Paul, who never knows what crazy shenanigans she will come up with next!

Shelby Brent, Lead Coach, Gold Medal Squared

Coach Shelby is currently a junior at Austin College, majoring in Kinesiology, and preparing for the next step in her academic and athletic career. She plans to continue her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she will join the SEOSU volleyball program as a graduate assistant. This opportunity will mark the beginning of her journey into collegiate coaching and the foundation of her future in the sport.

Coach Shelby played two years of Division III volleyball at Austin College, competing as both a Middle Blocker and an Opposite Hitter. She also brings three years of experience coaching private lessons across all skill levels, giving her a strong foundation in player development and individualized training.

With her education in Kinesiology, Coach Shelby also brings experience in strength coaching and is passionate about helping athletes grow in their overall athletic ability. She hopes to develop a future strength and performance program for athletes at TTVB, supporting their long‑term development both on and off the court.

Coach Shelby loves the rewarding nature of coaching young athletes. Watching players grow both physically and mentally fuels her passion for the sport and motivates her to be a steady, confident presence for every athlete she works with. Her goal is to not only develop strong volleyball players, but strong individuals who believe in their own ability to grow and succeed.

Bri Lowe, Coach

Bri brings 24 years of volleyball experience, both playing and coaching, to Texoma Thunder VBC.

Growing up in Arlington, TX she played school and club volleyball, winning State at Martin High School her senior year.  She continued her volleyball career as a right side and middle blocker at Mississippi State.  While there she earned 2nd Team All-SEC honors and still holds the single season hitting percentage record for the school.

After college she began coaching college volleyball, 2 years as an assistant coach (St. Leo University & Centenary College) followed up by 6 years as a head coach (Berry College & Cameron University).  After starting a family with her husband, Steve, she transitioned into coaching high school, middle school, and club volleyball at various schools/clubs in Washington and Oregon.

She now resides in Denison where her 3 children attend school.  On the side she runs a home-based cookie business (Easy Breezy Cookies), volunteers on various PTO committees, and teaches online classes at Grayson College.

She is ready to share her love of volleyball with the surrounding communities!!

Kailey Vick, Coach

Coach Kailey is currently a junior at Austin College, majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology, and she plans to attend medical school in the future. Her academic background fuels her passion for understanding how athletes grow both physically and mentally, and she loves applying that knowledge to the court.

She played collegiate volleyball at Austin College for three years, an experience that truly shaped who she is. Competing at the collegiate level taught her discipline, leadership, resilience, and the value of being a great teammate. Volleyball has given her so much, and she is passionate about giving that back through coaching.

Coach Kailey absolutely loves working with athletes and being involved in the community. Her goal as a coach is to create a positive, high-energy environment where players can build confidence, sharpen their skills, and push themselves to be their best — both on and off the court. She is excited to help athletes grow, compete, and fall in love with the game.
